The annual open graded meeting will take place at Moorways Stadium, Allenton, Derby, DE24 9HY on Tuesday April the 20th, starting at 5.30pm.

Entries will be accepted on the night.

5.30pm to 6.45 pm Primary Schools (under 12) Multi-event competition(1 run,1 jump,1 throw)

(Two runs,choose from 75m,200m,800m: long jump: one throw,choose from 400g javelin or hammer)

Other events (male and female, all ages unless otherwise specified) as follows:

100m, 200m, 800m, 3000m (not U15), LJ, HJ, Javelin, Shot, Sprint hurdles (U13 and U15 only)

HJ will take place if sufficient entries are received by 16th of April.

Approximate timetable:

6.45pm Sprint hurdles and 800m (alternate), LJ (U13), HJ, Javelin

7.25pm 100m (youngest first)

7.45pm 3000m, LJ (over 13), Shot

8.15pm 200m (youngest first)

Entry fees:

£3 for under 12 primary multi-event competition

£3.50 for under 17

£4 for over 17

for up to 3 events

Derbyshire County Championships

The 2010 Derbyshire Athletics Championships will take place at Berry Hill,Mansfield on May the 8th and 9th.

UK Athletics Level 2 Officials Course at Derby AC

This course is an entry level course (there are no prerequisites to attend).  The course fee is £15 and application forms can be downloaded from www.englandathletics.org/events

The combined Northern and England Athletics 5k Road Championships takes place on Sunday 11th July on a traffic free course starting from the familiar Witton Park in Blackburn. Medals will be awarded to the first 3 individuals and 3 teams (3 to count) in the England and Northern categories.

The closing date is Sunday 4th July .
