Derby Athletic Club Mission Statement: December 2003

”The Club will represent all that is best in the sport of Athletics through social, educational, training and competitive activities, supported by coaching, officiating and sportsmanship of the highest standards. The Club will join, in partnership, with schools, local authorities and other athletics organisations in promoting the enjoyment and development of all persons for the recreation and well being of the community”


DERBY ATHLETIC CLUB WAS FORMED FROM THE MERGER OF DERBY AND COUNTY ATHLETIC CLUB (see history) AND DERBY LADIES ATHLETIC CLUB (see history) ON 31ST AUGUST 2002
